Radiant Missions and Outreach

With the goal being radical generosity, we have created a mission strategy that the first 10% of our giving goes right back into our local communities, in our nation, and around the globe. We this strategy from the book of Acts 1:8, “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”. We have a three part strategy that looks like this:

The first part is “In Jerusalem”, which was the city referenced in this scripture. This was their city. We call this our Local Missions. For us, that means is Tampa Bay. From St. Petersburg and Pinellas County to Tampa and all of Hillsborough County, we truly believe that God has positioned us in our local communities to make a massive impact.

We accomplish this through serve events and through partnering with local agencies. We want to make a difference in our cities and be an unavoidable presence that tells people about Jesus in our local area.

The second part comes from the portion that says “In Judea and Samaria”. That was their region or their nation at that time. For us, that is where our National Missions come in. We want to be very strategic about making sure people all over the United Staes can come to know Jesus. And the way we do that is through our online services and by planting local life-giving churches in some of the darkest areas of our country, churches just like Radiant Church that bring life and hope and reach people who are far from God.

We do this through two agencies. One is called ARC, which is the Association of Related Churches. The other is called CMN, which is the Church Multiplication Network. Pastor Aaron serves in both of these organizations. And we’re able to help churches launch all over America every single year, to reach even more people for Jesus.

The third portion comes from the statement, “To the ends of the earth”, which is where our Global Missions strategy comes in to play. We have a global strategy to help children, to advance the gospel, and to raise up leaders. Those are the three things we aim to accomplish. Our focus is on a place called the 10-40 window, which is the area that covers 10 degrees north of the equator to 40 degrees north of the equator. This is where some of the most unreached people in the world live. We invest, every single month, in making sure that children are being cared for, that the gospel is advancing, and leaders are being raised up in these areas.
